WGC May 2024 & Summer Events

At the May 2024 WGC general meeting, Josh Taylor from Do Good Farm provided insight into sustainable farming practices in a Central Florida. Hostesses April H & Kim B provided delicious snacks to the members.

WGC members participated in a mock NGC flower show under the leadership of Maureen T & Vicki H. It was very carefully put together with lots of hard work & planning. Members participated by submitting entries in Horticulture, Botanical Arts and Design. General public was allowed to view the designs & show entries on a predetermined open day.

During the summer month a number of members met at various locations for summer luncheons. Some of the members also participated in sprucing up the butterfly garden at Windermere Elementary School prior to the 2024 - 25 school year commencement.
