WGC Jan 2024 Events

WGC members kicked off the new year with a field trip to Leu Gardens in Jan 2024. After a short general meeting at the town hall, members departed to visit the gardens. Camellias were in bloom. With various idea gardens & specimen plants Leu Gardens provided visual & mental stimulation to those in attendance.

WGC celebrated Arbor day by planting a Florida native pond cypress tree in the town of Windermere. Community members joined the WGC members in the festivities.

Planning for WGC's biggest annual fundraiser was also kicked off in Jan 2024. Various committees are working hard towards making this event a success. Money raised via this fundraiser will go towards student scholarships.
